CONTEMPLATIVE,

DEEP FORM_2019

“When I die I will return to look for the moments that I did not live by the sea”. Sophia de Mello Breyner Andersen’s little poem is the trigger for the reorientation of the research. A prospecting for solid fragments of individuality and artistic will become evident in the Contemplative, Deep Form. Representative synthesis and search for the essence, gradually intensify the central point of the creation process. The considered aesthetic change is here translated into a return to the condition of latent truths. Allusions to the sea and sky, at first, are the structuring elements of a new anamnesis. The horizon offers a broad notion of existence, something like an awareness of belonging to a system in constant movement of advance and retreat, delicately balanced in its apparent brutality. This series seeks to explore notions related to time and urgency as components of the Devir, through an intentional geometry and contrast of masses of colors.
